IFBC 2013 – Introduction
It has been 2 weeks, and I’m still recovering from my recent trip to Seattle, Washington. I have a lot to cover, so I’m going to break it down into few posts. I recently attended the 5th annual International Food Bloggers Conference (IFBC) on September 20-22 organized by Foodista.com and Zephyr Adventures. The conference focuses on three themes: Food, Writing, and Technology. The agenda is quite impressive. So many high-quality educational sessions and workshops including some networking opportunities.
The conference was held at the W hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. The luxurious hotel has an urban vibe with a modern feel. I’m glad the conference venue was held at one of the Starwood hotels. I’m an SPG gold member, and earning points towards Elite status is always a plus!
I enjoyed my daily stroll through the Pike Place Market, Seattle’s neighborhood market and treasure. It’s a few blocks walking distance from the hotel. There is an abundance of seafood, craft markets, small shops and flower marts to peruse through.
Stay tuned for more recaps on my 3 day conference at IFBC!
